56 Breda Academy pupils enjoyed an excellent week of skiing in Folgaria, a rustic Italian town in the Dolomite region.  Pupils from Year 9, 10 and 13 made new friends, tasted new foods, learned some new Italian words, and most of all, enjoyed 24 hours of expert ski tuition from professional Italian ski instructors.

This was the first ski trip for Breda Academy and the pupils described their experience in the following ways:

“Best trip of my life so far….  excellent”

“I cannot believe that I have learned how to ski – now to get my mum to try it…she’d love it!”

“I have made really good friends with my room mates… the best decision was to go on the trip.  I loved it!”

“When I first saw the mountains, I was so frightened as they looked huge.  But by day 4, I had skied across so many of the steep slopes – I couldn’t believe it!”

Plans are under way for the new Breda Ski Trip – going to San Martino, Italy in March 2017.  The pupils are so excited.
